One month ago we began our first home meeting and since then we have seen tremendous results. That one meeting has now grown into four separate meetings in different locations throughout our city of Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina Brazil.
Last night, Pr. Luis announced to the congregation that we are formally shifting towards a house church model. Powerful testimonies were given by people who had never been to a "church" before but attended a home meeting and gave their lives to Christ.
Afterwards I gave a short teaching on the House Church Movement and how we will be walking it through. At the end the congregation applauded! This was far beyond our wildest dreams. Our congregation is excited and believes this is the way in which we can reach our city.
Over the next few Sundays we will continue meeting corporately to teach and train. Then we will dispense with the larger meetings and our house churches will officially be up and running.
